Tree Growth Regulators
Tree Growth Regulators are a useful tool to reduce the frequency and amount trees must be trimmed. Tree Growth Regulator's are compounds that when applied to a tree, controls the growth in the tree's crown (branches). TGR's have been safely used since the 1960's and are gaining in popularity because of new application methods and consistency of results. Using Tree Growth Regulators means that trimming crews visit homeowners less frequently and cycle times between trimmings double.
*Note: Tree Growth Regulators must be applied by applicators trained in TGR applications. Application rates differ according to species, size and overall condition of the tree. Record keeping is made simple by using Weed Control's GIS system for recording all application data and mapping tree locations with sub- foot accuracy.
